Description Branch Manager – Brodie | Location: 9220 Brodie Ln, Austin, TX 78748 | Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM - 5:45PM and rotating Saturdays: 8:45AM - 12:15PM Austin Telco is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Brodie (South Austin) branch. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a member-first environment and is passionate about developing staff, driving operational excellence, and building strong community relationships. What You’ll Do: Branch Leadership & Member Experience Lead daily branch operations and ensure a welcoming, service-driven environment Build strong member relationships and advocate for financial literacy Resolve complex member needs with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment Serve as a visible, engaged leader in the branch and community Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all member touchpoints Team Coaching & Development Attract, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team Provide daily guidance, feedback, and accountability to staff Foster a positive, collaborative, member-focused culture Support professional growth through training, mentoring, and performance management Model Austin Telco’s values of Respect, Empathy, Service, Integrity, and Cooperation Operational Excellence Oversee branch operations including cash management, vault and ATM controls, security, and regulatory compliance Ensure accurate execution of transactions, audits, and operational protocols Monitor branch performance metrics and implement improvements Recommend process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service Protect members and the credit union from fraud, scams, and unlawful activity Perform Notary and Medallion Signature Guarantee services as needed Community Engagement Represent Austin Telco in the community with professionalism and enthusiasm Participate in outreach, events, and partnerships that strengthen member relationships Promote financial education and support local initiatives Branch Network Support Provide leadership coverage at nearby branches as needed Collaborate with the Regional Branch Manager and cross-functional partners to support organizational goals Requirements What You Bring: 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a credit union or banking environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to member service and a positive, professional attitude.
