Brault Roofing is continuing with our growth plan. We are looking for that Candidate to lead our office in Langley, BC. If you are self driven and motivated to lead a team in growth and expansion please reach out to us.
Operations Manager

General Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Attend site meetings as/ when needed
  • Ensuring
  • Perform a key role in planning and implementing and improving current process
  • Communicate effectively with the all personnel responsible for completing various phases of the project
  • Liaises with contractors to obtain estimates, pricing, product specifications, warranties and other correspondence
  • Ensure trade lists are up to date
  • Tracking of project schedules and ensuring projects are completed on time
  • Ensure project documents are complete including photos.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends when business requires
  • Dealing with vendors, clients, consultants and project managers
  • Site Visits/Quality Assurance checks
  • Be on call for emergency leak calls after hours
  • Only use good roofing practices
  • Ensuring all service operations are under budget
  • Ensure that all billings, quotes and reports are looked over and accurate before sending out to customers.
  • Verifying and signing off on all timesheets
  • Oversee quality of installation ensuring
  • Keep service vehicle fleet in good operation
  • Generate new business/find new customers
  • Being accountable for actions and decisions made by the department.
  • Assists with or performs administrative tasks
  • Monitors department issues and client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen those recurring issues
  • Regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and that repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly
  • Oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; if necessary, carries out these job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work
  • Work hand in hand with production to keep the production jobs moving efficiently
  • Prepare and/or review roof reports with photos
  • Create Estimates and Work Orders for maintenance, repairs, new installations and roof replacements
  • Review customer invoices for accuracy
  • Review monthly Job Costs
  • Produce an annual budget for sales and overheads,
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with Architects, Consultants and Suppliers
  • Attend conferences, trade shows and seminars related to the roofing industry
  • Develop operational efficiencies

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be self starter and motivated to be a leader in the industry
  • Previous experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs in a timely manner
  • Complete work orders, take-offs and estimates in a concise and timely manner
  • Ability to conduct presentations virtually
  • Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives
  • Have 5 years of Roofing Construction and Management Experience
