Description Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Branch Manager is to direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operations. The Branch Manager will foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. Job Skills and Responsibilities: • Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration and sales • Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans • Meet goals and metrics • Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately • Identify, evaluate and manage strategic risks and opportunities • Share knowledge with other branches on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide feedback on market movement • Other responsibilities as requested Requirements College degree or equivalent additional years of experience 5+ years leading operations, a P&L, and teams of people, with a previous field and branch leadership experience in industrial distribution preferred. Strong history of a customer-focused and commercial mindset and experience. Strong communication, problem solving and decision-making skills to effectively resolve customer and employee issues Strong supervisory and leadership skills required to manage, motivate and develop employees Uphold confidentiality in all situations Detail oriented, strong organization skills and a high degree of accuracy with the ability to work independently Ability to use Internet, Outlook, MS Office and position specific software as required Competencies: Financial Management Performance Management Problem Solving/Analysis Business Acumen Ethical Conduct Technical Capacity Performance Management We’ve got you covered.
