Branch Manager Department: Warehouse Employment Type: Full Time Location: Houston, TX Description We are looking for a professional to oversee warehouse operations. As the Branch Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, optimizing space utilization, and leading a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific instructions. Forklift driving skills and basic computer knowledge are also required. Requirements for success: Lead and direct all branch operations and ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, customization processes, including the promotion of a safe, compliant facility Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to align and maintain world-class warehouse operation and customization functionality, taking into account company and operational goals Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all branch functions, ensuring all operational processes are completed daily Hire, oversee, and develop operations staff, including interviewing, training, performance management, and staffing Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements, particularly local legal requirements related to the facility Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and service quality Develop and implement branch-level strategies to achieve operational, efficiency, and customization goals Curate a quality client interaction related to customer pickup and experience, including showroom and retail store needs Monitor and report on branch KPIs such as revenue growth, profitability, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction Ensure that the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities is completed Manage processes related to contractors for maintenance, repairs, equipment, and supplies for facility operations Ideal candidate qualities include: 5+ years of experience in inventory management, distribution, supply chain, or warehouse operations At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience, including direct supervision of operational teams Prior experience managing business planning responsibility at a branch or business unit level preferred Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing support, or logistics strongly preferred.
