Davey Roofing SW Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our new branch in Exeter, Devon. This is a pivotal role for someone looking to build and shape a new operation from the ground up, with a primary focus on re-roofing projects and the future potential to expand into new-build work.
As a subsidiary of the Jones Building Group, we are a stable and growing company, not a sub-contractor. We currently employ over 50 roofing professionals across our offices in Yeovil and Eastleigh, delivering new-builds, term-contract re-roofing and responsive repair programs for clients across the South of England and beyond.

• Operational Leadership: Manage the daily operations of the new Exeter branch, including overseeing project delivery, staff management, and client relations.
• Business Development: Actively seek and secure new re-roofing contracts while strategically pursuing opportunities for new-build projects.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage roofing teams (typically 3-person teams of a roofer, labourer, and truck driver), ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Project Oversight: Follow our established process for planned works, from initial job requests and site surveys to material ordering, project execution, and final client sign-off.
• Health and Safety: Ensure all branch activities comply with HSE guidelines, including arranging appropriate welfare facilities for our teams and securing tools and materials.
• Financial Management: Work with the finance department to manage budgets, process monthly valuations, and ensure the profitability of the branch.
