Evergreen Armored, a currency logistics company and subsidiary company of Maps Credit Union, seeks a full-time Branch Manager for our new Kent, Washington location. The Branch Manager reports to the CEO of Evergreen Armored and will have oversight of all lines of business focused on Operations, People (3+ direct reports), Routes, Cash Logistics, Safety, and Security. This position must remain flexible to adapt to daily changing business needs, which may include operating a service vehicle or assisting with currency processing and the vault. - Please note: The Kent, WA branch location is scheduled to open October 1, 2024. The person in this role must be available to train at our Keizer, OR location for two weeks.
Key responsibilities of the Branch Manager include:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
- Successful completion of State required training for Armed Security Officer, or the ability to complete within first 30 days.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in service, security, or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of armed security experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven supervisory/management experience.
- Strong knowledge of currency processing and bank operation for processing procedures is preferred.
- Requires the availability to work Monday – Friday and occasional Saturday hours as needed.
- Must be bondable.
Responsibilities:
Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 25% of the time is spent over the road driving. Balance of time (approximately 75%) is spent walking, sitting and moving about inside facilities.
Speaking/Hearing: Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies, by telephone, and in person.
Vision: Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use computers, handheld scanners, and interpret written information.
Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/Pulling: The ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds is necessary for transporting currency and/or cargo.
Stooping/Kneeling: The ability to stoop and kneel is necessary for accessing vault and currency.
Reaching/Handling: Good manual dexterity is necessary for computer keyboard use and for retrieving and working with appropriate paperwork, equipment, and supplies.
