The Branch Manager develops branch staff through coaching and engagement. The Branch Manager manages day-to-day activities and is the face of the Credit Union in the Communities they serve. The Branch Manager will be expected to cover staffing needs and help in the teller, lending, and other day-to-day roles as needed. Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of branch personnel: conducts performance reviews; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from subordinates. Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Actively engages with the Communities they serve. Promotes the Credit Union through networking with community members, Chamber Organizations, etc. Develops personal, business, and community relationships that enhance the Credit Unions public persona. Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups. Prepares and submits standard reports as assigned; attends scheduled management meetings. Informs management of policies, procedures, and guidelines that are inefficient or antiquated and makes recommendations for change.
