We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic branch manager who will be responsible for the day-to- day management and profitable growth of our busy branch in Barnard Castle. As an established independent merchant, we differ from a national builders’ merchant by giving much more autonomy to our managers, so you will have every opportunity to develop the business further to suit the local market.
You will be responsible for handling everything from sales to stock management and you will have the opportunity to continue to develop a high-performing team to drive the progression of this branch. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a “can do” attitude. You will need to demonstrate previous experience working within a Management or Supervisory position in a Builders
Merchants environment or similar industry. It is also very important that you can demonstrate commercial awareness, target achievement, people management expertise and a commitment to total customer satisfaction.
