Description Reports to the AVP Regional Operations Manager for Northern or Southern Region Exempt General Functions: Guide employees in providing quality service to members across all areas of service (deposit accounts, loans, and relationship building). Utilizing experience and knowledge, work within the established policies and procedures to create excellent outcomes for members. Lead a team of one to 20 full-time employees. The Branch Manager will require attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a proficient understanding of navigating multiple computer programs and the internet. The Branch Manager must always maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of service. Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Promotes LLCU by being a visible presence in local communities through participation in business, community, and charitable organizations and activities. Reflects the credit union's core values in their daily activities and at any time they represent the credit union. 2) Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations. 3) Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. 4) Evaluate the job performance of branch office staff to ensure quality of work and service to members. 5) Monitor branch activity, including number of transactions, teller errors, loan volume, teller and loan personal sales, and new accounts. Monitor branch operations to ensure a consistent, professional approach. 6) Monitor key products and sales within branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices and a high quality of service for members. 7) Hold weekly staff meetings to communicate successes and hurdles in attaining branch goals. 8) Manage the security and safety of the branch. Examine and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis. 9) Ensure that staff receives on-going training on security and robbery procedures as well as updates to policies and procedures. 10) Schedule adequate staff to ensure efficient branch operation. 11) Conduct loan interviews. Process, approve and/or close loans. 12) Assist staff or members in solving complex account problems. 13) Create and maintain a cross-serving environment within the branch. 14) Involvement in local community through activities such as volunteering, networking groups, and chamber events. 15) Perform duties of notary public. 16) Point of contact for member concerns/complaints. 17) On-call 24 hours for ATM machine problems, staff, etc. 18) Able to assist and backup duties and responsibilities of more senior positions or other positions as needed. 19) Provide organization-wide member service as needed by assisting with functions including, but not limited to: answering member calls, emails, and online chats. 20) Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. 21) Maintains work area in an orderly manner. 22) This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Requirements Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent plus Minimum 2 or more years of experience in a financial institution and Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or 5 years as an approving lender. Availability during branch hours and to work at alternate Branch locations if/when assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Degree with focus in accounting, economics, business management, finance, or communications. PAY INFORMATION Starting at $59,000 annually dependent upon qualifications and experience.
