Role overview: The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of their respective branch, ensuring efficient and effective management to achieve organizational goals. This role requires a proactive leader with strong legal credentials and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the branch team, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and ensuring operational efficiency in compliance with legal requirements and organizational objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

· Hold a valid P1 license and be in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.
· Completion of required CPD seminars.
· Comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada.
· Comprehensive understanding of the XCO database.
· Experience in supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
· Proven ability to implement corporate strategies, policies, procedures, and practices.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Ability to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve issues effectively.
· Experience in conducting performance reviews.
· Familiarity with financial management practices such as Accounts Receivable and expense control.
· Knowledge of legal disclosure processes.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

· Supervise, coach, and develop staff, providing ongoing leadership.
· Provide outstanding customer service to both prospective and active clients.
· Manage multitasking and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
· Utilize in-depth knowledge of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada.
· Utilize in-depth knowledge of the XCO database for effective operations.
· Contribute to implementing corporate strategies, policies, procedures, and practices.
· Resolve problems and make decisions swiftly and efficiently.
· Verify agent invoicing to control expenses and maintain quality standards.
· Administer and approve all time off and client refund requests.
· Address Accounting Department requests promptly and effectively.
· Manage staffing, delegation, work schedules, and duty assignments.
· Review sales and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement.
· Establish departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures as needed.
· Manage Accounts Receivable to minimize outstanding balances, conducting regular follow-ups.
· Reconcile daily sales and oversee bank deposits for the accounting department.
· Request, receive, and review disclosure as necessary for legal proceedings.
· Complete required CPD seminars to stay current with legal standards and best practices.
