JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Trade Counter/Branch Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our operation. In recognition of this the role attracts a base salary and quarterly commission.
Your responsibilities include:
- Accurately processing orders through the Sales Order Processing System.
- Providing exceptional customer service, whether in person, over the phone, or via email, by offering expert advice on product usage and application.
- Accurate manufacturing of Fastmatch Colour in-branch to fulfil customer requirements.
- Safely handling paint containers of varying weights (up to 30 litres).
- Adhering to our FM branch quality control system, maintaining accurate records.
- Increasing sales by promoting additional products from the Morrells range.
- Properly managing paperwork, cash receipts, and petty cash for banking.
- Ensuring optimal branch stock levels to meet customer demand while not exceeding targets.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, secure, and safe environment for both customers and employees.
- Regularly inspecting the site and reporting any issues to the Branch Team Leader.
- Keeping records of service failures and compiling management reports as requested.
- Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Successful candidates should possess:
- Competency and confidence in using Fastmatch colour equipment (desirable)
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Desirable
- A proven ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet customer expectations.

- A willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
- A positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
- Strong team working skills.
- The ability to work independently.
EXPERIENCE:
- Retail: 1 year (preferred)
- Stock taking: 1 year (preferred)
