Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced dynamic and driven Branch Manager to oversee operations and lead, support and develop all aspects of both operational and sales activities for our branch in Torrensville. As Branch Manager you will ensure that sales targets and customer expectations are met, while driving profitability and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of business plans and sales strategies for the market that ensures attainment of sales goals and profitability.
  • Development and initiation of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Manage branch resource allocation, financial control inclusive of budgeting and forecasting, logistics and procurement across all business functions.
  • Determine and develop the annual budget for daily branch expenses.
  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue and track and interpret sales figures to generate timely sales reports.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations to support the achievement of major sales and service projects.
  • Conduct analyses of the market, customers, competition, latest trends, challenges, and product developments to identify sales and product development opportunities.
  • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive key decision makers of the accounts and industry leaders/players.
  • Implement strategies to address and resolve issues within the service department.
  • Provide a high level of leadership, training and coaching to staff ensuring they have the necessary skills to meet the requirements of their position.
  • Coordinate assignments for field service staff.
  • Develop and manage customer relationship and ensure satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and best practices.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in branch / operational management role or similar.
  • Experience and or knowledge of mining, construction, heavy industry equipment industries or similar.
  • Displays strong financial awareness and commercial acumen.
  • High-level organization, planning, problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Ability to conduct meaningful market research.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing staff.
  • Ability to manage highly agile and changing work environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in sales and marketing is desirable.
  • Front Line Management and or Leadership and Management Qualification is desirable.
  • Full working rights in Australia is essential in order to be considered for this position.

The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
