Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This is a unique leadership opportunity for high performing project or technical director to lead our Queenstown branch. This comprises of dividing your time across three key areas: Market & Client Leadership, Project Delivery, and Branch Management,. We envision the split will vary week on week but largely you will spend half your time focused on Markets andaA quarter of your time on branch management - shaping a positive, inclusive culture, inspiring creative people to thrives in delivering meaningful results, and building strong teams. The remaining quarter will be spent on project and/or bid delivery at a Project Director/Bid Director level. Your key accountabilities in the Queenstown Branch Manager position will be provide leadership that inspires, unites, and influences our teams in a way that enhances and grows our talented people and the Queenstown Lakes district. In collaboration with the Southern Regional Manager and our General Managers and Section Managers you’ll also lead the coordination and execution of market growth strategies. This includes identifying new market opportunities, overseeing market facing activity, and tracking performance to ensure our regional strategic objectives are met. You’ll be keen to work on key challenges and opportunities across water and environmental, transport systems, energy, planning and government to support tourism and social infrastructure activities across economic and cultural dimensions. Key to success in this position will be an ability to help build brand recognition across the region with a focus on business development and representing Beca in client and public forums, engaging with key clients, stakeholders, and market contacts. You will be an advocate of our brand, our people and our clients, and the Queenstown Lakes district - your engaging style is essential in this role. Mōu ake | About you Coming from an engineering consultancy or similar environment, you’ll have developed a strong reputation in one of our key growth areas (Transport Systems, Water and Infrastructure, Energy, or Project Management) and bring a genuine passion for delivering high‑quality technical and project outcomes.
