Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee their busy retail mortgage branch in Rathfarnham. This role requires a strong leader who can drive branch performance, develop a high-achieving team, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure full regulatory compliance.

Main Duties

• Take overall responsibility for the branch’s daily operations, meeting and exceeding sales and service objectives.
• Lead, coach, and inspire the branch team to achieve both individual and collective success.
• Build lasting client relationships, providing expert mortgage advice and customised financial solutions.
• Guarantee full compliance with all relevant mortgage, banking, and regulatory standards, as well as internal policies.
• Monitor local market activity to identify opportunities for growth and portfolio expansion.
• Produce accurate reports on branch performance for senior leadership.
• Manage resources efficiently, ensuring operational effectiveness and cost control.
• Deal with complex customer issues in a professional and timely manner.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years’ management experience in banking, financial services, or mortgage lending.
• Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) – essential requirement.
• Demonstrable record of consistently meeting and surpassing sales and service goals.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and processes.
• Strong leadership ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially aware, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
