We are looking for a Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Main Office (Branch) in Saugerties, NY. The successful candidate must have proven branch management experience, as a Bank Manager or similar role, with full knowledge and understanding of banking regulations related to deposit/retail banking. S/he must also have a solid knowledge of Bank services, products, policies, and procedures, sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices, demonstrated leadership, relationship building, and human resources management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as sales experience is a must. Candidate must be results driven and customer focused with the ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
The Branch Manager is in charge of overseeing and coordinating all sales and operations for the branch. They are directly responsible for hiring staff, onboarding, and training new staff members, and developing goals to maintain sales performance. The Branch Manager will be responsible for assessing local market conditions to identify sales opportunities and prospective new clients. A good Branch Manager will be proactive about networking and have strong communication skills to bring in new clients. They must also have expert analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks well. They will work with Management to develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
