REQUIREMENTS :

  • Degree in Electronics, Business, Marketing, or related field with 10 years’ experience in Electronic Component Industry.
  • Possess good people management skills, able to guide, coach and motivate staff to meet sales objectives.
  • Strong sales, multi-tasking and time management skills required for the achievement of branch sales objectives.
  • Proven track record in successful sales / distribution experience with ability to meet goals and objectives.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge and understanding of sales, purchasing, product, vendor, warehousing, branch operations and systems.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and coaching skills.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills for communicating and building relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to write reports and prepare presentations to senior management.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading a team of Sales Account Managers with focus in managing accounts and achieving sales objectives.
  • Manages a branch sales program that results in the satisfactory achievement of gross profit, revenue generation, operating expense control, inventory management, on-time delivery performance and quality performance metrics.
  • Provide guidance for sales personnel to manage their sales territories efficiently and effectively to ensure that accounts are appropriately assigned, each sales territory has adequate coverage, and the full potential of each account is determined.
  • Develops and direct a productive team of branch sales personnel by hiring, training, and leading by example; and providing ongoing performance management.
  • Conducts weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with team to communicate TTI’s vision and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies/tactics for achieving specific sales objectives.
  • Develop a good working relationship and rapport with all key suppliers, so as to provide TTI with the competitive edge for future sales growth and market share.
  • Maintains market awareness on competitor activities, industry trends and new concepts by reading industry periodicals, networking, attending training events and trade shows to equip with current industry knowledge.
