About the Opportunity We are seeking a high-energy, community-driven Branch Manager to lead a smaller but high-impact retail branch in Toledo, Ohio. This branch requires a strong, visible leader who thrives in business development, outbound engagement, and relationship building—not someone waiting for foot traffic. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving growth, coaching a small team, and expanding the branch’s presence in the local community, particularly within an industrial market. Why This Role Stands Out Uncapped impact: Your success directly drives branch growth and bonus opportunity Bonus program: Quarterly payouts tied to loan volume, deposit growth, and member growth Earn bonus starting at 75% of goal attainment Outstanding benefits package Autonomy + visibility: Highly visible leadership role with strong executive support Fun, driven culture: Results-focused team that works hard, laughs, and supports each other Branch Snapshot – Toledo Team size: 4 FTEs (including Branch Manager) Environment: Industrial area with minimal walk-in traffic Success requires: Active offsite business development Community presence and relationship building Outbound calling to existing members (no cold calling) Budget: Dedicated to branch growth and community initiatives Focus: Loans, deposits, and community-integrated member growth What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to consistently meet sales, service, and compliance goals Drive branch growth through community outreach, business development, and outbound engagement Hold team members accountable to quarterly sales and service expectations Oversee daily branch operations including staffing, scheduling, loan activity, and member services Serve as the escalation point for complex member situations and ensure excellent resolution Partner with internal teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality member experience Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Represent the branch through community events, partnerships, chambers, and local organizations Who We’re Looking For Must-Have Qualifications 2–5 years of branch leadership experience (flexible if strong community involvement exists) Proven success in sales-driven, fast-paced environments Strong community engagement mindset – must be visible, authentic, and proactive Confident people leader who coaches, motivates, and holds teams accountable Analytical thinker with ability to connect goals, numbers, and outcomes Sales-oriented leader who balances performance with compliance Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Trustworthy, driven, and resilient with strong follow-through Nice-to-Have Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (not required if experience is strong) Credit union or community banking background Consistent career tenure and leadership progression Additional Expectations Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration Ability to be bonded and obtain notary designation Local travel to nearby branches and community events Must enjoy a results-driven, high-accountability, fun but thick-skinned culture Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $75,000–$80,000 Annual bonus: Typically $12,000–$15,000 Quarterly incentives tied to branch performance Exceptional benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Toledo, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $78000.00/yr.
