Description Job Title: Branch Manager Department: Operations Reports to: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Exempt The individual in this position should be competent, experienced, personable, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to the pressures of effectively managing its branch and daily tasks. Responsibilities Direct all operational aspects including delivery, warehouse operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales. Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities. Assisting to develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans Meet goals and metrics as set by Management. Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities Share knowledge with other branches and teammates on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are occasionally required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Keying data is repetitive motion and is frequently required. The position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Occasional exposure to other worksites that require personal protective equipment. Driving to customers locations and branches is required. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to coach employees and management through complex emotional issues Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and strong leadership skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills (negotiating, developing, disciplining, public speaking etc.) Excellent interpersonal skills (building team, influencing culture, informing employees, consulting with clients) Exercise discretion and independent judgment Ability to maintain a positive and professional presence in the workplace Requirements Requirements The individual must be able to assign and direct all work performed in the assigned branches and to supervise all areas of operation. They must manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The person will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business. Implements strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement. Proven branch management experience in the Heavy-duty Parts industry or similar role is required Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices. Ability to meet sales targets and production goals Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations Results driven and customer focused
