Description

OVERVIEW:

Near North Title Group is seeking a seasoned Branch Manager to lead our title insurance branch’s growth, operations, and client engagement in Naples and the surrounding market. The ideal candidate will drive business development, oversee closing and disbursement-related activities, manage office personnel and performance, and execute training initiatives. You will implement strategic tactics to expand market share within a designated territory, collaborate with leadership on budgets and P&L performance, and represent the branch at client-facing and industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. Industry certifications (e.g., CMB, CIC, or Florida-specific licenses) are a plus.
  • Florida Title License.
  • Significant experience in title insurance operations, real estate settlements, or related financial services (5+ years preferred).
  • Proven track record in title insurance branch leadership, sales development, and client relationship management within the title industry.
  • Strong understanding of title underwriting processes, lien releases, endorsements, and closing procedures.
  • Knowledge of RESPA, Florida regulations, ALTA guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with title production software, escrow accounting tools, and MS Office.
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory as needed; in Naples, some local travel to client sites and industry events will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Growth
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow market share in the title insurance space within the Naples metro area and designated territory.
  • Attend client meetings, title industry conferences, real estate events, and business development functions to generate opportunities.
  • Assist the Account Executive in identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and securing new title insurance business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate attorneys, lenders, REALTORS, escrow officers, and settlement agents.
  • Closing & Disbursement Operations
  • Oversee all day-to-day title closing activities, including title commitments, endorsements, escrow disbursements, and settlements.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with RESPA, Florida state regulations, ALTA best practices, and internal controls
  • Monitor and improve closing workflows to enhance efficiency, title clearance turnaround, and customer satisfaction.
  • Office & Personnel Management
  • Lead, supervise, and develop branch staff; manage attendance, performance, and workload distribution.
  • Implement training programs on title insurance products, lien standards, endorsements, and procedural compliance.
  • Foster a positive office culture with merit-based advancement and high service standards.
  • Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (RESPA, Florida licensing regulations), licensing, and corporate policies.
  • Maintain internal controls to manage risk in title underwriting, disbursements, and record-keeping.
  • Implement quality control measures for title orders.
  • Performance & Operational Excellence
  • Establish branch KPIs (production volume, closed orders, error rates, cycle times, escrow disbursement accuracy, customer satisfaction).
  • Manage budgets and monitor P&L; optimize costs, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and revenue in title production and settlement services.

  • Collaborate with underwriting partners, attorneys, lenders, and internal departments to align with corporate goals.
  • Share best practices across branches and implement standard operating procedures for consistency.
  • Lead initiatives to improve title production workflow, order management, and settlement timelines.
