Description The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the inside sales, warehouse, and store operations at the branch location. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service and operational performance while embodying Wilson’s core values of Love, Serve, Care. This position is central to driving sales growth, meeting gross margin goals, maximizing customer satisfaction, and achieving financial and operational targets through strong leadership and people-focused management. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead, train, and develop the inside sales and customer service teams to meet and exceed performance objectives while fostering a positive and respectful work environment. Oversee and coordinate all daily operations, including inside sales, warehouse management, and store activities, ensuring alignment with Wilson’s values. Create and maintain an engaged, motivated team culture that supports collaboration, accountability, and mutual support. Model and promote behaviors that reflect the company's commitment to Love (respect and compassion), Serve (selflessness and reliability), and Care (commitment and excellence). Monitor and achieve quarterly and annual KPIs, such as bookings, billings, service levels, and customer satisfaction scores. Serve as a key point of support for the field sales team and coordinate communication between inside and outside sales functions. Identify and act on new opportunities for growth, both in sales and operational improvements. Maintain the branch facility, inventory, and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and protection of assets. Conduct weekly meetings to reinforce team alignment, celebrate successes, and address challenges openly and constructively. Lead the performance review process for all direct reports, providing meaningful feedback, setting measurable goals, and supporting career development. Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and the community. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and applicable regulations. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop inside sales and customer service teams to achieve and surpass performance goals while maintaining a respectful and supportive work environment. Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage daily operations across sales, warehouse, and store functions in alignment with company values. Capability to cultivate a motivated, collaborative, and accountable team culture that emphasizes mutual respect and shared success. Ability to exemplify and reinforce core company values such as compassion, selflessness, reliability, excellence, and commitment in all professional interactions. Analytical skills to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), interpret trends, and implement strategies to improve bookings, billings, service levels, and customer satisfaction. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to serve as a liaison between inside and outside sales teams, ensuring alignment and cooperation. Entrepreneurial mindset to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in sales and operational processes. Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment, including facility, inventory, and equipment upkeep. Proficiency in conducting productive team meetings to align goals, celebrate achievements, and address issues constructively. Experience in conducting performance evaluations, providing actionable feedback, setting development goals, and supporting employee growth. Ability to represent the company with professionalism in all external interactions with customers, vendors, and community stakeholders. Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations to ensure a secure and compliant workplace. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required. 5+ years of experience in industrial distribution. 5+ years of experience with fluid power, hydraulics, and pneumatics. 10+ year of leadership or management experience with a proven track record of team development and employee engagement. Technical/professional certifications preferred Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required. Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based work with regular exposure to warehouse and field environments. May require sitting for extended periods and performing repetitive motions. Must be able to navigate warehouse environments and occasionally lift or move materials as needed. Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 *Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and acceptable motor vehicle record, as well as possession of a valid driver’s license prior to start date.
