BRANCH MANAGER - TOLEDO

Reports to Regional Manager
Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is one of the largest independent Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC distributors in America.
We are looking for a Customer and Employee focused Branch Manager to join our growing team.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee customer service-focused branch activities to maximize selling opportunities, drive efficient order processing, and maintain a culture of exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with regional sales team and corporate marketing team to plan and execute customer focused events to build working relationships and drive customer traffic at the branch
  • Collaborate with regional operations management on the performance of the branch operations team to facilitate accurate and timely order fulfilment and material handling.
  • Collaborate with marketing resources to maintain the design and appearance of the point of purchase area, build and maintain displays, ensure inventory is stocked, and facilitate promotional activities.
  • Oversee point of payment transaction procedures, including facilitating bank deposits, auditing cash drawer, resolving invoicing and return issues and appropriate processing, collection and transferring of paperwork from the branch to corporate accounts receivable department.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, professional work environment. Coordinate with corporate facility management to resolve any necessary office repairs or enhancements.
  • Provide technical support to team members and coordinate with corporate IT department to repair or replace any office equipment or hardware, including but not limited to computers, copiers, fax machines, phone system, paging system, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Continuously work to update and maintain strong product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability in order to support customer service team and customers.
  • Understand, implement, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching and developing a team of direct reports.
  • Manage with a high level of integrity and drive increased employee engagement. Provide strong support and mentorship for team members and lead by example.
  • Manage resources and scheduling effectively to ensure proper coverage for on-site customer service duties to account for variations in customer traffic.
  • Collaborate with corporate human resources team as needed to support management of personnel matters.
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in distribution
  • Ability to lead, train and develop a team
  • Understanding of and proficient in the use of technology, computers and web-based tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to effectively self-prioritize
  • Prior experience managing a team of direct reports preferred
  • Intermediate HVAC, electrical, or plumbing product knowledge preferred
