Description

Daltco Electric is Eastern Ontario’s largest independent electrical automation and lighting distributor. Daltco Electric serves the industrial, residential, and commercial marketplace from its three locations in Kingston, Brockville, and Ottawa.
Daltco Electric is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to fill a Branch Operations Manager role within our Kingston team. The successful candidate will be an organized, self-motivated individual who thrives as part of a collaborative team-oriented company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • College diploma in Business or a related electrical discipline.
  • Three (3) years experience in in electrical sales or industry preferably with supervisory/managerial experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship building.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the branch.
  • Lead customer service initiatives to ensure high satisfaction levels for both walk-in customers and account clients.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and ensure their needs are met promptly.
  • Implement and optimize operational procedures to enhance workflow, reduce costs, and improve branch performance.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory integrity, lead the year-end inventory count.
  • Effectively coach staff on a quarterly basis for personal improvement in performance and well-being; Complete annual performance reviews in an effective and timely manner.
  • Build a strong team through positive motivation, coaching, and leading by example.
  • Actively support company-wide marketing programs and engage in annual planning processes internally and with suppliers.
