Overview K-Designers - Branch Operations Manager Pay Range: $85,000 - $90,000 per year K-Designers is proud to be part of Great Day Improvements, one of the nation’s largest home improvement companies and home to a family of trusted brands. The Operations Manager agrees to direct his/her best efforts to help the branch in attaining its’ Installed Revenue goals every month. The Operations Mgr. understands that to meet or exceed the Installed Revenue target they must display and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude with all personnel and customers – at all times. Responsible for branch installation management, inventory control, installer recruitment, quality control of installations, urgency and speed of installations and efficient funds collection of completed jobs. Responsible for monitoring installation systems for all products with current and correct data. Responsibilities Maintain high standards of business and work ethics on daily business with all you come in contact with. Track installer staffing levels to insure adequate crews to meet sales trends. Maintain a network of qualified applicators to install all jobs. Maintain a training program to assure product trained applicators. Provide training and installation standards to all applicators. Maintain inventory control, prevent shrinkage, take quality and accurate monthly inventories. Keep proper inventory count and control, and order inventory as needed. Insure compliance with Federal, State and Local Licensing, Permitting and other Local Regulations. Responsible for acquisition of all permits required prior to starting job. Make certain all required pre-inspection and final inspections are made. Work closely with city and county building departments to maintain a good working relationship. Maintain a high degree of applicator production with quality control. Responsible for hiring/association and terminating/disassociation of applicators as necessary. Review each job for shipment and discuss with applicators. Maximize shipment of jobs each business day. Responsible for maintaining overall quality control of each job. Perform periodic inspection of jobs as needed to insure quality installations. Assist applicators whenever necessary. Maintain and update production reports daily to insure accurate reporting. Communicate with homeowner on job shipping, progress and post completion. Maintain and negotiate favorable cost control with installers. Scrutinize labor bills for accuracy and approval of payment. Provide prompt efficient customer service requests. Responsible for the expediting of all repairs at a minimum cost to the company. Control in and out of warranty service costs. Maintain proper service records and back charge independent contractors responsible if not willing to correct agreed work or if customer isn’t willing to allow them back. Responsible for the training and supervision of the production staff. Promote installer referral programs for lead development. Responsible for any and all other duties as designated by the Branch Manager and Corporate Officers. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in production, installation management, or construction operations (home improvement industry preferred). Proven track record of leading teams and meeting or exceeding performance goals. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of inventory control, scheduling systems, and quality assurance processes.
