REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in wholesale plumbing supply operations or general wholesale industrial distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and daily branch operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with staff supervision and development.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and comfort learning/using operational systems.
• Epicor Eclipse Solar system experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Oberkampf Supply, part of the Winston Water Cooler family of companies, is seeking a hands-on, experienced Branch Operations Manager to lead our Midland/Odessa location. This person will serve as a key leader within the branch, partnering with ownership to oversee daily operations, drive efficiency, and lead our team.
The right candidate will have an understanding of wholesale plumbing operations and be equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve day-to-day challenges as they are improving processes and leading staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and direction for branch staff across all departments.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant workflows.
• Maintain quality assurance standards across customer service, inventory, and operations.
• Manage and develop staff, including performance management, training, and team building.
• Drive process improvements and refine operational procedures for long-term efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Balance both the physical and mental demands of a fast-paced supply house environment.
