As we prepare to relocate to a new site, we’re looking for a motivated and commercially savvy Branch Sales Manager to lead our New Plymouth branch into its next phase of growth. Role This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well‑established branch, shape its performance, and get closer to customers across the Taranaki transport, trade, and industrial sectors in this 50/50 role. Reporting to a Regional Manager and supported by a network of passionate branch managers and product specialists, you’ll use your knowledge and experience of the industry to: Leading day‑to‑day branch operations and visiting customers to grow business Managing financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, margins, and commercial decision-making. Building strong customer relationships through regular onsite visits, solution selling, and market engagement. Working closely with the wider regional and national teams to align performance and share insights. Coaching, supporting, and developing your people, lifting performance while creating a positive, engaged team culture. What you’ll bring Proven experience in the heavy automotive or related field Strong communication and team building capability Confidence with financials, understanding branch performance, budgets, profit and loss and commercial levers Confidence engaging with customers in both B2B and B2C environments.
