An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Sales Person to join our Morpeth Sales Team

SALARY: DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

THE ROLE: As an Internal Branch Sales Person, you will be working as part of an already successful team targeting and managing a portfolio of local trade contractors and general builders. You will be developing relationships with existing customers assisting with their orders and making suggestions based on current offers and their requirements as well as targeting new business and customers in the Morpeth area.
CANDIDATE: We are seeking a salesperson with good product knowledge on a range of building, roofing and timber materials. The candidate must be professional, customer orientated and have the ability to make commercial decisions. An ideal background would be a salesperson with recent builders merchant experience, and who has existing relationships with local/regional builders.
THE PACKAGE: We offer a competitive salary and benefits which include 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, annual PRP Bonus, option to buy or sell holidays and life insurance among others. The normal working week will be Monday to Friday.
THE COMPANY: James Burrell Ltd is a family run, independent builders merchant which was established in 1877 and we are a leading distributor of building materials, civils products, insulation and timber. Although the company has grown considerably to 10 branches from Northumberland to South Yorkshire, we have maintained the culture of a family business where each person is recognised as important to the success of the company.
