Grade 9 WFH Hybrid Eligible No Position Purpose To provide operational and leadership support across multiple branch locations, ensuring consistency in service delivery, operational efficiency, and adherence to Credit Union policies and goals. The Floating Supervisor supports branch teams by filling in for management as needed, coaching staff, and promoting branch performance to meet organizational, financial, and member service objectives. Reporting Relationships This position reports to the Director of Branch Operations. Essential Functions and Accountabilities Provide leadership and operational oversight for assigned branches on a temporary or rotating basis, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional service to members. Quickly assess branch needs upon arrival and adapt to varying team dynamics, workflows, and member bases to maintain consistent service and operational standards. Apply a thorough knowledge of Credit Union policies, procedures, and compliance requirements across multiple branch environments. Ensure staff adherence to standards and model accountability. Oversee and safeguard branch cash operations including maintaining the branch change fund, daily deposits, cash replenishments, and inventory, in accordance with policy. Engage members in meaningful financial conversations that identify their goals and recommend appropriate products and services to improve their financial well-being. Serve as the primary leadership presence in the branch, representing the Credit Union professionally to members, community partners, vendors, and other financial institutions. Act as a role model and resource for branch staff, fostering a positive service culture and maintaining clear communication between staff and leadership. Stay current on operational, procedural, and regulatory changes to ensure each branch remains compliant and efficient. Follow all security, fraud prevention, and risk management protocols, and ensure staff adherence to these standards in each location. Monitor branch facilities for cleanliness, security, and proper maintenance while on site. Support administrative tasks and assist with projects, process improvements, and interdepartmental initiatives as assigned by leadership. Perform other related duties as required to support business needs, including assisting in departments outside of branch operations when appropriate. Coach and develop employees to identify cross-sales opportunities Demonstrate willingness to achieve professional growth through on-the-job training and educationalopportunities Demonstrate willingness to participate in Credit Union related activities Maintain friendly working relationships with management and coworkers Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness Requirements Minimum Qualifications • High school graduate • Three to five years of experience leading and managing a team of people Desirable Qualifications • Proven leadership in financial services with ability to adapt to different branches and lead diverse teams. • Strong knowledge of credit union policies, operations, and compliance, with excellent communication and coaching skills. • Flexible and dependable; able to travel on short notice and deliver exceptional member experiences. • A college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or apprenticeship • Advanced computer skills; proficient MS Office • Excellent time management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to follow up with others regarding information needed or provided • Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic • Able to handle highly confidential information with discretion • Detail oriented • Able to adhere to tight deadlines • Able to produce high-quality work in an efficient and timely manner • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by being able to discern between conflicting priorities and reprioritize as business needs dictate • Embraces change Desirable Traits • Professional presence • Punctual, dependable, and cooperative • Possess a positive demeanor and cooperative attitude in relations with members and employees • Communicates with warmth and compassion while keeping the needs of the business as the primary focus.
