Coordinate and supervise all sales and customer service activities to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to sound business practices, while overseeing administrative operations and assisting in resolving branch-related service issues.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• To coordinate and supervise all sales and customer service activities to achieve satisfaction consistent with good business practices.
• Oversee customer and administrative activities and assist with the resolution of branch-related service issues.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• College diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Broad knowledge of Company’s products, services and operations.
• Understanding and commitment to Company quality goals and standards.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership skills required.
• Ability to handle customer complaints and mediate customer disputes.
• Working knowledge of PC’s including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Responsible to support sales growth and profitability of the Branch.
• Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturer partners to ensure we are positioned as a strong channel in the Region.
• Prepare appropriate annual, monthly and weekly plans. Set reasonable goals with deadlines for completion and monitor results.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Manage and train Branch employees to the Graybar Canada standards.
• Determine merchandise and services.
• Manage inventory control – including accuracy, daily cycle count input and variance reconciliation.
• Responsible for all building security.
• Responsible to direct and administer safe practices in accordance with company safety policies.
• Manage branch inventory levels on a daily basis to ensure local customer requirements are met.
• Set an example by following all company procedures and policies.
