JOB OVERVIEW

Are you an avid recycler? Love working with people? Love attending events? Inventa is looking for outgoing and energetic Brand Ambassadors to join the Recycle BC Urban Tour this summer! Our team will be appearing at multiple open air events form June – September to talk to community members about how their items get recycled in BC. The team will take guets through photo opportunities, quizzes to find their “Recycling Personality type”, and answering tricky questions about Recycling!
To excel in this role, you will have strong customer service skills and sense of leadership, in addition to having open availability on for training and shifts (outlined below). Previous experience is required, as well as experience with customer service and public relations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comfortable with heavy lifting of 30-40lbs
  • Comfortable with standing for long periods of time

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in sales or food service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong public speaking abilities and comfort in engaging large groups of people.
  • Experience with product demos is a plus, showcasing your ability to effectively communicate product value.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customer bases.
  • A background in customer service will be beneficial for addressing client needs and fostering positive relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Arriving to footprint 15 minutes early to be prepped for the shift
  • Providing excellent customer service to guests
  • Handling and wrapping packages with extreme care
  • Delivering clear key messaging
  • Supporting the Supervisor with tasks
  • Tracking any problems and reporting them to the Supervisor
  • Completing a nightly report and sending it to the Supervisor
  • Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Answering any questions from guests that are within their scope
  • Monitoring customer feedback and deescalating disgruntled guests onsite
  • Representing the company in a fun and professional manner
  • Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times
  • Active participation in set up/tear down/opening/closing tasks
  • Willing carry and help set up branded event assets such as tents and tables
