GMR Marketing is currently hiring for a Brand Ambassador in La Jolla, CA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring an engaging, high-energy experience for guests while supporting bar cart logistics and running interactive elements such as Virtual Reality games and prize giveaways. Key Responsibilities Include: Arriving early to stock bar carts and verify recipe cards Running interactive VR games and giveaways Hyping up the crowd and handing out samples/merchandise Communicating with fans/customers Providing bar backing support Keeping the event space clean and welcoming Maintaining the setup and assisting with tear down Delivering brand talking points effectively Engaging with guests using your golf and liquor expertise ABOUT GMR MARKETING We are the Experience Agency Making Unforgettable Stories Born of Humanity NOT JUST EXPERIENTIAL. You will play a pivotal role in engaging with clients and fans as they navigate our footprint and engage with its elements. We want to attract people to spend time at this event, so your ability to proactively engage potential consumers is a key to our success. You’ll do that by welcoming patrons to our activation and helping to create an inviting experience. Experience with Technology. You may be helping fans operate a Virtual Reality headset that might require some light troubleshooting. Bar Back Support. You won’t be responsible for creating or pouring cocktails, but you will be doing some light clean up, stocking the bar and providing overall bar back support. Ability to Multitask. You will often be needed to operate different games or elements around the footprint, while talking with fans waiting in line and keeping them engaged. Great Communication Skills. You’ll be interacting with VIPs so engaging, positive, and effective communication is crucial. Set Up/Tear Down. As part of the shift, you’ll be required to help with set up or tear down. This isn’t going to be difficult manual labor, but your willingness to help will be crucial to make this event as seamless as possible. Reliability. You will be asked to participate in a virtual training and arrive on time for your scheduled shifts.
