Description

AND IN MORE DETAIL

We’re looking for a talented Brand & Design Manager with strong creative skills to join our ambitious and growing national law firm.
This is a new and pivotal role for someone who combines design abilities with strategic brand thinking. The role is twofold. You’ll be our brand guardian - ensuring our visual identity is consistent and compelling while helping to elevate our brand across every touchpoint. You’ll also be responsible for creating, maintaining and managing our design assets and outputs.
You’ll report to the Head of Marketing & Communications and work closely with colleagues across marketing, BD, digital, internal comms and HR. You’ll also be the main contact for our creative agencies, ensuring external partners deliver to the highest standard.
You’ll play a vital role in telling our story and helping us stand out. Ensuring every interaction with the firm feels consistent, creative and refreshingly human.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment who can:

  • Juggle multiple projects while maintaining quality, creativity and consistency.
  • Bring fresh ideas while staying up to date with design and branding trends.
  • Confidently manage day-to-day design requests, while keeping an eye on the bigger brand picture.

Experience & skills:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a designer/brand creative.
  • Have a strong portfolio showing versatility across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Strong knowledge and use of:
  • Graphic design principles (grids, paragraph/character styles, templates).
  • Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Canva.
  • Visual identity systems and brand guidelines.
  • Infographic and diagram design.
  • Bid/pitch document creation.
  • Presentation design.
  • Event branding.
  • Digital design best practice.

Bonus skills (advantageous, not essential):

  • Motion graphics and video production.
  • UI/UX design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch).

In this role, you’ll:

  • Be our brand guardian, managing and developing the brand for the Foot Anstey Group (see below) including our brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity across all channels.
  • Evolve and elevate the brand to keep it relevant, innovative, and distinctive within the industry.
  • Champion brand awareness and engagement internally, delivering training and guidance on brand and templates.
  • Manage agency relationships across brand, merchandise, video and creative partnerships.
  • Collaborate in brainstorming sessions, bringing creative ideas that cut through and resonate with clients, colleagues, and wider audiences.
  • Ensure consistency by maintaining our brand assets and templates as well as delivering our design outputs.
