Description

We are currently recruiting a dynamic and creative Brand and Digital Marketing Executive at Market Street hotel, one of Edinburgh’s most inspiring hotels and Scotland’s only Design Hotel™.
We are looking for a creative yet analytical mind to support the Marketing Manager to bring both the Market Street hotel and Nor’ Loft brand to life. You will assist with delivering our brand message, to keep the brand relevant and alive. You will inspire and assist with the creative development of marketing brand strategies both short and long term.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

· Experience or knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media platform analytics
· Experience in social media management
· Photography skills
· Written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstration of experience in organisation and planning
· Experience or knowledge of design tools such as Adobe, including InDesign, desired but not essential
· Hospitality experience is desired but not essential

Responsibilities

· Social media management, creating and scheduling content, and carrying out community management, whilst identifying new trends and platforms
· Creating email marketing campaigns in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice
· Carrying out routine optimisation of digital marketing channels such as Google My Business and TripAdvisor
· Providing regular reports on campaign performance (Google Analytics, social media platform analytics)
· Supporting with production and development of branded print materials
· To assist with creative design tasks such as updating food and beverage menus as required
· Updating and maintaining website content (following CMS training)
· General admin assistance in supporting Marketing Manager and Revenue Manager with key projects and initiatives
· Deliver the brand message and training to the operational team; bringing the brand to life and our message consistent
· Perform routine market/competitor analysis to develop a clear understanding of our industry and competitors
