Brand and Marketing Content Specialist - 12-Month Max Term
The Brand & Marketing Content Specialist plays a crucial role in the Brand Content team. This role supports AGL’s content strategy, contributing to best practice plans and experiences for brand, marketing, and customer engagement. The goal is to enhance brand awareness, boost marketing efficiency, and employ data-driven strategies for content creation and management.
The purpose of this role is to build brand knowledge and consideration and increase marketing efficiency and effectiveness through contemporary best practices, data-driven content strategy, production and management.

Key accountabilities of this role

  • Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to develop strategic brand content plans leveraging customer insights and best practices.
  • Engage with creative agencies to produce high-quality, commercially focused content in AGL’s tone, spanning various formats such as copy, infographics, articles, video, and images.
  • Support AGL’s Content Marketing program through AGL Discover.
  • Develop channel plans for content distribution across web, social media, customer communications, forums, and other identified channels.
  • Innovate creative content formats and channels, taking a consultative approach to reaching audiences.
  • Manage agency relationships for successful content production and media campaigns, including briefing, reviewing, coordinating approval, and providing consultative feedback on digital media best practices and optimisations.

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in a digital and/or content marketing role, with a focus on customer-centric content across various channels.
  • Strong understanding of content’s impact on SEO and a track record of improving SEO performance.
  • Effective management and communication with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment without compromising output.
  • Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, fostering creative and innovative change in a digital culture.
  • Robust agency briefing and management skills, including hands-on experience in content creation, editing, and familiarity with the Adobe stack for analytics and social media.
