Brand & Trade Manager Full-Time | Amman, Jordan | FMCG / Distribution ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is looking to hire an experienced Brand & Trade Manager to join their growing team in Amman, Jordan. Operating in the FMCG distribution space and representing a portfolio of multinational brands, they are seeking a commercially driven professional who can bridge strategic brand management with impactful trade execution across both modern and traditional channels. This is a senior individual contributor role with high visibility, offering the opportunity to own brand plans end-to-end, drive trade activations, and work directly with regional distributors and brand principals. WHAT YOU'LL DO Brand Management • Develop and implement annual brand plans aligned with principal guidelines and company objectives. • Manage brand budgets, track ROI, and ensure responsible allocation of spend. • Lead new product launches, including pricing strategy, go-to-market planning, and positioning. • Monitor brand performance via sell-in/sell-out data, market share, and consumer insights. • Maintain strong relationships with multinational brand principals and uphold brand standards. Trade Marketing & Activations • Design and execute trade promotions, in-store activations, and visibility programs across all trade channels. • Develop and deploy POS materials, planograms, and channel-specific assets in line with brand guidelines. • Conduct regular market visits to assess execution quality and identify opportunities for improvement. • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of all trade activities, delivering post-promotion analysis and recommendations. • Work closely with the sales team to align trade programs with distribution and volume targets. Commercial Planning & Analysis • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and demand plans in collaboration with the sales and supply chain teams. • Develop commercial plans, pricing proposals, and promotional calendars. • Manage budgets within approved limits, with clear variance tracking and reporting. • Analyze market data, competitive landscape, and category trends to inform strategic decisions. • Prepare concise management reports and presentations on brand and trade performance. Distributor & Stakeholder Management • Serve as the key liaison between the company and brand principals/distributors. • Manage joint business plans with key distribution partners, ensuring alignment on targets and activations. • Support and coach the sales team on brand messaging, product knowledge, and trade execution tools. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experience & Background • 4–6 years of experience in brand management and/or trade marketing within the FMCG industry — this is non-negotiable. • Proven track record of managing multinational brands and collaborating with distributors. • Hands-on experience designing and executing trade activations and promotional campaigns. • Background in budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning. • Experience working with regional markets is a strong advantage. Skills & Competencies • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data modelling) and PowerPoint. • Strong analytical mindset : you can turn data into clear, actionable recommendations. • Excellent project management skills; comfortable handling multiple brands and workstreams simultaneously. • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. • Self-starter who thrives working independently in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
