Summary The Brand Art Director is a key creative force within KAYALI, sitting under the Creative function and responsible for bringing bold easthetic ideas to life through elevated, distinctive, and globally consistent visual planning and executions. Working closely with the Senior Creative Manager / Creative Director, this role translates vision into reality, driving momentum from concept through to final output with a strong sense of ownership and pace. The Art Director plays a critical role in making things happen, ensuring creative ideas are pre-planned and executed to the highest details and standard across campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling. Partnering closely with the Production team, the Brand Art Director supports both pre-production and on-set execution, contributing to set design, prop direction, and overall visual cohesion. With a strong understanding of production processes, this role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution, ensuring ideas are not only inspiring, but delivered with precision and impact. This role will support both Brand and Social outputs (interim), ensuring consistency and quality across all creative touchpoints while the structure continues to evolve. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the visual development of campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling from concept through to execution Translate creative direction into strong visual outputs, including moodboards, references, and shot direction Own the look and feel across all brand outputs, including: Styling (product and set) Lighting direction Composition and framing Materials, textures, and props Provide on-set art direction across shoots (campaign, social, ecommerce), ensuring creative vision is executed to the highest standard Collaborate closely with the Senior Creative Manager / Creative Director to align on vision and creative direction Partner with the Production team (including Senior Production Manager) to support pre-production and shoot execution, contributing to set design, prop direction, and overall visual cohesion Work closely with stylists, photographers, videographers, and external creatives to elevate execution quality Ensure consistency and quality across all visual outputs, including campaigns, ecommerce, and social content Review and guide: Image selects Retouching direction Final asset quality Partner with the Design team to ensure accurate and high-quality rollout of creative concepts across all formats Support both Brand and Social outputs (interim), ensuring alignment across all touchpoints Contribute to the ongoing evolution of KAYALI’s visual language and creative standards Requirements 5–8+ years of experience in Art Direction within beauty, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle industries Strong portfolio showcasing campaign, product, and brand-led work with a clear aesthetic point of view Proven experience leading visual direction across campaigns, product launches (NPD), and brand storytelling Strong on-set experience directing shoots (studio and location), with the ability to guide photographers, stylists, and creative teams Deep understanding of visual storytelling, including composition, lighting, color, and styling Experience contributing to set design and visual environments, with a strong eye for materials, props, and spatial composition Exposure to large-scale campaign productions and set builds is a strong plus Strong understanding of production processes, including pre-production, shoot execution, and post-production Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across Creative, Design, Production, Social, and Marketing teams Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-output environment Strong attention to detail with a refined and elevated creative sensibility Our Benefits & Perks: • Premium Medical/Dental/Vision coverage • Find your Magic Days • Volunteer Day • Birthday Leave • Egg Freezing Benefits • Employee discounts on all Kayali products • Quarterly product gifting
