GetYourGuide is looking for a creative leader to spearhead our brand identity and system design team, within the central Creative Studio organisation. In this role, you’ll drive strategic vision and execution of our visual brand experience, overseeing a talented team of designers who shape how millions of travelers interact with our brand across all touchpoints. This is a pivotal leadership role that will transform how we express our brand identity at scale, working collaboratively with Marketing, Product, UX, and other cross-functional teams to build a distinctive, consistent, and innovative visual system differentiating GetYourGuide within the competitive travel and experiences landscape. Your mission Lead the creation, evolution, and documentation of scalable design strategy for all brand touchpoints Develop and maintain comprehensive design system architecture, principles, and documentation Define design governance frameworks that balance brand consistency with creative flexibility Partner with executive leadership to align visual identity with business goals and company strategy Identify opportunities to evolve the brand identity while maintaining core brand equity Implement design system infrastructure that empowers teams to maintain brand integrity Integrate generative AI and automation tools to enhance design efficiency without sacrificing quality Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of designers Foster a culture of experimentation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning Partner with Marketing, UX, Product, Engineering and Communications teams to ensure seamless integration of brand systems Advocate for the business value of cohesive brand experiences and design systems Your toolkit 10+ years in brand design, identity systems, and creative leadership 5+ years of people management and understanding of org design implementation A strong portfolio that includes mastery of brand identity, design systems, and visual storytelling Strategic mindset with ability to balance creative excellence with business objectives Track record of successfully advocating for design at the executive level Expertise in creating memorable and distinctive visual experiences in competitive markets Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and engineering Understanding of design operations, digital asset management systems, and workflows enabling large-scale production How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
