We believe that doing good is always good for business and we have stood for this since Kellogg Company was founded more than 120 years ago. We are passionate about doing our part to make nutritious foods, create social connectivity and respect natural resources. Together, these actions create positive progress for people and the planet – today and for years to come. We have big plans for how we are going to accomplish this, and we would love for you to join us in this effort. JOB OVERVIEW The Brand Growth Manager (BGM) on the Kellogg Kroger team is responsible for shaping a clear, compelling narrative of business performance for both internal and external audiences. This role evaluates the end-to-end business—from orders and distribution center inventory through to consumer consumption—to identify risks, issues, and opportunities. The BGM partners with the team to uncover new growth opportunities, including innovation, display execution, pricing effectiveness, and upselling strategies for field and division teams. Additionally, the role leads post-promotional analysis to improve future promotions and analyzes household, trip, and spend-per-trip trends to drive sustained growth. As a critical thought partner, the BGM enables the broader team to understand past performance while proactively identifying future risks and opportunities. This is an Onsite role in our Cincinnati, OH office. You will travel up to 25% of time. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Narrative Crafting: The BGM plays a crucial role in shaping both internal and external narratives concerning Kroger’s performance. This involves collaboration with key stakeholders on the team to ensure we are prepared to talk to internal leadership as well as customer leadership. Team Preparedness: Ensuring the team is well-prepared for discussions about merchandising, pricing, promotions, supply positions, and market dynamics. This includes holding the customer accountable for pricing and promotional adherence to plans. Weekly Notifications: Sending out weekly pricing notifications to ensure divisions are adhering to everyday pricing. Also, providing weekly notifications on merchandising and ad adherence. Post-Promo Tracking: Tracking promotions post-execution and sharing insights internally and with the customer. This helps identify areas where we executed optimally and where there is opportunity for improvement in future promotions. Customer Allocations Analysis: BGM analyzes customer allocations for upcoming promotions and provides recommendations by division and by store for upsells 4-6 weeks prior to promotions. This has led to significant upsells with the division team, such as $18M in 2025, with an expected $25M in 2026. Inventory Tracking: Responsible for weekly tracking of inventory, highlighting any areas where we are dramatically high or low, and addressing these issues. This also aids in future forecasting. Demand Forecasting: Ensuring we are adequately ordering for upcoming big promotions by looking within the Kroger demand forecast and partnering with the customer where necessary. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conducting ad hoc analysis; i.e., Assessing the household impact of pricing and promotional changes. This is critical as the team shifts its promotional strategy to a higher mix of entry promotions. Display Vehicle Setup: Setting up new display vehicles within the Kroger system, an ongoing task involving LTOs, promo displays, etc. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a highly analytical, naturally curious self‑starter with a strong “make it better” mindset. The ideal candidate brings solid business acumen with a clear understanding of end‑to‑end customer processes. Experience and familiarity with Kroger is strongly preferred, and 5+ years of CPG experience is a plus. The role requires advanced proficiency in computer software, including Excel, Circana, and Power BI, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems such as Kroger Stratum and Market 6. The candidate must be able to synthesize large volumes of data into clear, compelling, and easy‑to‑understand narratives for both internal and external audiences. Salary Range: $118,720 - $148,400 Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
