Description:

The GLOBALG.A.P. brand is owned and operated by FoodPLUS GmbH; a limited liability company registered in Cologne, Germany. FoodPLUS GmbH is responsible for managing the GLOBALG.A.P. portfolio of smart farm assurance solutions and the related day-to-day operations – from standard setting and certification management to integrity and marketing. FoodPLUS GmbH also serves as the legal entity holding the international copyrights for the GLOBALG.A.P. brand and the GGN consumer label which stands for certified, responsible farming and transparency.
We are looking for a Brand Integrity and Complaint Management Assessor (m/f/d) based on a freelance agreement to start immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comply with GLOBALG.A.P. IFA auditor qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of GLOBALG.A.P. IFA and GRASP normative documents

SKILLS

  • Very good written, technical and verbal communication skills in English; other European languages are beneficial
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills
  • Excellent auditing skills and precise attention to detail
  • Appreciation and understanding of agricultural and social technical issues
  • Able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent conflict management skills and results-oriented

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years experience as a GLOBALG.A.P. Auditor
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the agriculture industry
  • Strong technical background in agriculture
  • Additional experience with aquaculture and social standards is beneficial

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Location is flexible
  • Flexibility to travel to assist and/or join integrity assessments/audits on request
  • Driver’s license

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly monitor suitable sources and networks for identifying and evaluating potential brand-related misuses
  • Process and follow up on brand-related misuse complaints issued formally to the GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat by external sources or initiated internally by GLOBALG.A.P.
  • Determine whether legal advice is required on issues relating to brand-related misuse complaints
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of systems for the complaints, procedures and policies for complaints
  • Evaluation of complaints activity in terms of quality, scope and methodology
  • Monitor trends, highlight risk factors etc. and reporting activity
