Job Description The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving the ongoing evolution and commercial performance of the Cyberpunk 2077 franchise, ensuring the brand remains culturally relevant, commercially strong, and strategically aligned with CD PROJEKT RED’s long-term objectives. This role focuses on: Translating global brand strategy into executable campaign plans. Managing lifecycle marketing for a live franchise. Ensuring clarity of positioning across all beats (updates, expansions, anniversaries, partnerships). Acting as the central orchestration point between Development, Publishing, Communications, Creative, and external partners. Reporting to the Global Brand Marketing Director, this person owns the day-to-day strategic and operational execution of Cyberpunk 2077 marketing initiatives. This role is offered as a two-year fixed-term contract. Daily responsibilities: Franchise Lifecycle & Campaign Leadership: Own planning and execution of Cyberpunk 2077 campaign beats (updates, expansions, platform releases, anniversary moments). Define clear campaign objectives (e.g., expansion sales, player reactivation, platform acquisition). Ensure every campaign has a focused, single-minded communication hook, not diluted messaging. Commercial Focus & KPI Ownership: Translate business targets into marketing priorities. Align campaign scope with expected commercial impact. Proactively identify gaps between brand ambition and resource allocation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments, including Development, Creative Services, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, and Business Development, to ensure alignment and deliver on campaign objectives. Ensure campaign scope is realistic and aligned before entering production. Prevent misalignment between pitch decks and final Jira scopes. Campaign Calendar Management: Maintain and oversee the content marketing calendar, outlining all promotional efforts across channels to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging. PR & Communications Alignment: Partner with Communications and Public Relations teams to ensure messaging is aligned with product and brand strategies, ensuring consistency across all media and touchpoints. Platform & Partnership Strategy: Support negotiations and alignment with platform partners. Ensure any brand collaboration reflects core brand codes and commercial objectives. Contribute to global beats with strategic clarity. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, ideally within the gaming, entertainment, or tech industry. Proven track record of managing and executing large-scale brand and marketing campaigns with cross-functional teams. Experience working with global brands and managing external agency and partner relationships. Necessary skills: Strategic Brand Management: Strong understanding of brand strategy, go-to-market planning, and the ability to craft differentiated, compelling brand positioning. Project Management: Experience in overseeing the development and delivery of creative assets, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively. Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data and insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize brand communication efforts. Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional collaboration skills to work across departments and manage multiple stakeholders to deliver unified and cohesive marketing efforts. Adaptability & Cultural Awareness: Ability to understand and adapt marketing strategies to different cultural practices and global perspectives. Creative Vision: A strong creative sense to guide the development of impactful marketing assets and campaigns, while ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy.
