Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY
Plans, creates, and produces marketing, advertising, and sales promotion materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives. Produces informational material for the sales force and for communications media.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develops and/or facilitates the development and creation of the promotional plan and programs and ensure their consistency with the brand strategy.
- Develops and manages the promotion /communication budget and project timelines.
- Collaborates with brand team to make a convincing case for appropriate budget and expectations for marketing opportunities.
- Maintains awareness of competitive activity in consumer marketing
- Manages overall relationships with advertising agencies and other vendors.
- Responsible for the implementation of promotional/communication strategies, plans and programs in support of brand strategies and objectives.
- Provides input into Communication Planning and Operational Planning
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceuticals or science)
- For Internal Candidates: Minimum 5 years of Experience in pharmaceutical industry, with at least one year in AstraZeneca.
- For External Candidates: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing roles in Oncology/ Specialty care in the Gulf markets.
DESIRABLE FOR THE ROLE
- Strategic Thinking: Develop short & long-term brand strategies.
- Communication Skills: Engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Organize and manage multiple projects to align with brand objectives.
