The opportunity As a Marketing & Social Media Associate within the Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) team, you will support EY’s Social media presence, while also act as the BMC support for other marketing initiatives taking place in Northern Greece. In this role, you will assist in the planning, creation, and execution of engaging Social Media content that strengthens our brand and supports key business priorities. You will also support the implementation of marketing initiatives in Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, including events, sponsorships, CSR activities, and other local projects, working closely with colleagues from the BMC team and the Thessaloniki office. Key responsibilities Support the execution of social media strategy aligned with EY’s overall objectives. Assist in creating, drafting, and editing compelling content in Greek and English for social media channels (e.g., posts, stories, short videos). Maintain and update social media calendars, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams and service lines to gather content and support approval processes. Collaborate with creative team on visual production. Monitor social media performance and support basic reporting on key metrics. Contribute ideas for new content formats and ways to improve engagement. Support in planning and executing Marketing initiatives in Thessaloniki and northern Greece (events, sponsorships, CSR activities, and other local projects), working with multiple stakeholders, within both the BMC team and the Thessaloniki office. Skills and attributes for success Strong copywriting and proofreading skills in both Greek and English, with attention to detail. Solid understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and digital communication best practices. Good organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Creative mindset and interest in content creation and storytelling. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. To qualify for the role, you must have: Up to 2 years of proven experience in marketing and communications, or a related field. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Communication, Journalism, Linguistics, Political Science, Business, or related disciplines). Good writing and editing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and other collaboration/knowledgemanagement tools. Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and spoken). Understanding of the use of MarTech platforms and AI tools in campaign execution, reporting, and audience segmentation, contributing to more efficient and targeted marketing activities. Photo and Video editing skills (e.g. CapCut ) are considered a plus.
