Collaborating with trichologists and cosmetic scientists, our client empowers individuals globally to restore hair health, promote growth, and embrace their natural confidence Job summary We are looking for a commercially minded brand marketing manager to own the brand in the market. This is a trade marketing and BTL-focused role – you will be the bridge between the brand and the shelves, the salons and the distributors that sell it. You will work closely with our Head of Sales to ensure the brand is well-positioned, well-presented and well-supported at every point of sale. You will also manage our digital presence and DTC channel. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. We need someone equally comfortable developing a trade marketing plan and physically executing an in-store activation. Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Trade Marketing & BTL: Develop and execute trade marketing plans for modern trade, traditional trade and salon channels Design and manage in-store activations, product launches and promotional campaigns Develop and maintain all trade materials - shelf talkers, POS displays, product leaflets, sampling kits Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market intelligence reports Work with the Sales Head to ensure brand standards are maintained across all trade accounts Brand Management: Own the brand identity - ensure consistency across all touchpoints Develop seasonal brand calendars aligned to key consumer moments Brief and manage external creative agencies, photographers and content creators Digital & DTC Marketing: Manage the company’s social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) Plan and execute digital campaigns to drive website traffic and DTC revenue Track and report on key digital metrics monthly Marketing Operations: Manage the marketing budget - track spend, ensure value for money Manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors and PR contacts Produce monthly marketing performance reports for the CEO Requirements 4-6 years in brand management, trade marketing or marketing in Cosmetics & Color Cosmetics, Fragrance & Perfumery, Skincare & Dermatological Care, beauty, Trichology & Hair Wellness, Nutraceuticals & Ingestible Beauty, or personal care Demonstrable experience developing and executing trade marketing or BTL campaigns Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail landscape – modern trade, traditional trade and salons Excellent project management skills – multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset – this is not a purely strategic role Preferred: Experience in haircare, beauty or personal care categories Experience in a founder-led, fast-growing Nigerian brand Existing relationships with Nigerian trade marketing vendors Experience with e-commerce or DTC marketing What You Will Find with Us: A genuinely premium Nigerian brand at an exciting growth stage Direct access to and collaboration with the Founder/CEO Meaningful responsibility from day one – no layers of bureaucracy A lean, ambitious team that moves fast and gets things done Competitive mid-level salary commensurate with experience The opportunity to build a marketing function from the ground up Remuneration: NGN 500,000-700,000 Monthly Net (based on experience and expertise)
