Your work area:

Potsdam Transfer is one of the leading entrepreneurship centers at German universities. You will work with us in a dynamic team that actively promotes entrepreneurial thinking and action and actively supports and fosters spin-offs from the university. Based on its experience as a university that fosters entrepreneurship, Potsdam Transfer's Startup Service is a regional, national, and international beacon in the startup ecosystem.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic development and maintenance of national and international partnerships in the field of entrepreneurship, including the drafting and support of partnership agreements.
  • Conception, organization and support of international networking, exchange and event formats such as the startup service bootcamp PEELx
  • Development and implementation of qualification formats, in particular train-the-trainer workshops, to strengthen start-up ecosystems and intercultural competences.
  • Consulting and support for prospective entrepreneurs regarding business models, follow-up financing and growth strategies.
  • Evaluation of business plans as well as support in applying for and managing start-up-related funding programs (e.g. EXIST)
  • Building and maintaining collaborations between founding teams, mentors, and network partners of the Startup Service

They bring the following with them:

  • Completed university degree (Master's/Diploma) in the field of economics, communication or social sciences
  • Experience in supporting start-up projects and startups, knowledge of support services (funding programs, start-up competitions, financing opportunities, incubators)
  • Contacts with the regional, national or international startup scene as well as with startup and innovation networks
  • proactive, self-reliant, structured, and team-oriented work style
  • Initial experience in implementing teaching and learning concepts in entrepreneurship education (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup, LSP, etc.)
  • very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • German and English language skills at level C1 according to the CEFR
