Job Description Maricich Health is seeking a part-time or freelance, detail-oriented, insight-driven Brand Strategist to support the Strategy team in developing competitive intelligence, differentiated positioning, and brand platforms for healthcare clients. This role may be performed remotely or at our headquarters in Irvine, CA, depending on candidate’s preference and business needs. This role plays a key support function in research synthesis, competitive audits, creative evaluations, and presentation development. The ideal candidate has at least 3–5 years of healthcare advertising or healthcare marketing experience and at least 2 years as a dedicated strategist. This is an ideal opportunity for an intellectually curious marketer who thrives in analytical environments and enjoys translating research and data into clear strategic insights. Key Responsibilities Support competitive and market analysis across digital, print, social, and broadcast channels to identify positioning gaps and messaging trends Track healthcare industry developments, regulatory considerations, and category shifts that may impact client strategy Assist in coordinating with research partners and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable insights Evaluate creative work against strategic objectives and provide structured feedback on clarity, differentiation, and alignment Support development of creative briefs, brand positioning materials, and strategic messaging frameworks Review transcreations and translations for strategic alignment and accuracy, when applicable Analyze available performance data and competitive benchmarks to identify trends and opportunities Build and refine strategy decks, competitive audits, and executive-ready presentation materials Collaborate closely with Account and Creative teams to ensure strategic alignment across deliverables Participate in internal brainstorms and strategic work sessions Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in healthcare advertising, healthcare marketing, or related regulated industry Agency experience preferred Demonstrated experience conducting competitive reviews and research synthesis Strong understanding of the healthcare marketing landscape Exceptional PowerPoint and strategic storytelling skills Strong communication abilities and presentation confidence, with the ability to articulate insights clearly and persuasively in both internal and client-facing settings Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related tools Highly organized with strong attention to detail B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Health, or related field Additional Information To apply, please submit a cover letter addressing your experience relative to the requirements outlined above.
