Branding and Content Officer Department Outreach Administration Office Entity Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi Location Nairobi, Kenya Introduction Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi (AKUH,N) is a private not-for-profit teaching hospital that provides tertiary and secondary level healthcare services. It is one of the hospitals in East Africa accredited by the Joint Commission International from USA. The University Hospital has been providing high quality care for the people of East Africa and beyond for close to 70 years. The University Hospital has a rapidly growing network of 54 outreach medical centers spread over Kenya and Uganda. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the above position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The Branding and Content Officer will be responsible for content creation for the hospital's website, social media platforms, outdoor advertising, and mainstream media interactions. The incumbent will work closely with the Marketing and Communications teams to ensure consistent, high-quality, and engaging content that reflects the hospital's mission and values. Responsibilities: Develop, create, and curate compelling and relevant content for the hospital's website, social media channels, and other digital platforms. Write and edit copy, articles, blog posts, and other content to inform, educate, and engage the target audience. Collaborate with subject matter experts and healthcare professionals to produce accurate and informative healthcare content. Collaborate with designers and agencies to ensure that all branding materials meet the hospital's brand guidelines Participate in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for outreach clinics. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. At least 2 years’ experience in content creation, branding, or communications Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content management systems Familiarity with graphic design and branding principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to create engaging and accurate content.
