ABOUT KOOBA

Kooba is a Dublin-based digital design agency that blends bold creativity with sharp strategic thinking. We craft digital brands, websites, and visual identities that drive results and leave a lasting impression. As a Brand & UI Design Intern, you’ll work on live projects, from campaign creative to UI systems, and gain real exposure to how great design happens across teams. This internship will have a timeline of 3 months.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Brand Identity Development: Assist in creating and evolving brand systems—logos, colour palettes, typography, and visual rules.
• UI Design: Design thoughtful, on-brand interfaces for websites and digital experiences using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Figma and related tools.
• Moodboards & Exploration: Build visual research boards to help teams align on tone, direction, and visual strategy.
• Design System Support: Help maintain or extend UI component libraries across client projects.
• Motion & Micro-Interaction: Explore and prototype lightweight animations and transitions to enhance user engagement.
• Design Documentation: Package work into clear, visually compelling presentation decks and client deliverables.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Studying Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or similar.
• Proficient in Figma or similar tools.
• Strong typographic and layout skills.
• Able to present and discuss visual decisions clearly.
• Interest in UI trends, branding, and digital experiences.
• A portfolio (in progress is fine!) that shows range, intent, and creative process.
