Description Essential functions and responsibilities: Lead the development and messaging of the brand narrative for United States market Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media Create, execute, and manage marketing programs and campaigns Collaborate in the development of new products Gather and analyze data on current market trends and competitive activity Establish and maintain brand P&L, budgets, forecasts and pricing Collaborate, participate in and coordinate promotional activities or trade shows Maintain regular job attendance; days of work are Monday—Friday; hours of work 8-hour scheduled days; job may require additional work performed evenings and weekends Nonessential functions: Will be required to perform other duties as directed, requested or assigned Success factors/job competencies: Professional, effective communication skills with team members in all global locations and with all outside parties (customers, consumers, guest artists, etc.) Participation as an active member of the Marketing Department cross-functional teams, supporting team members through responsible communication and follow-through Completion of work by management-assigned deadlines Self-direction while prioritizing, organizing and executing work Ability to work both independently and with others Commitment to Company values of music, integrity, ingenuity, respect and alignment Physical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work is primarily conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment. Work is also conducted at trade shows/clinics and outside (example: football field) which means exposure to those environments. Work is conducted with varying lighting and noise levels. Occasionally, several hours per day may be spent operating a motor vehicle or traveling in an airplane. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; however, equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of educational prerequisites 3+ years of successful work experience in business management, marketing, and/or product management Demonstrated ability to use personal computers and business software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills Possess valid motor vehicle operator’s license with a company-acceptable driving record as incumbent will be required to drive to trade shows, etc.; also, must be able to travel by airplane Qualifications desired: 3+ years of successful sales or marketing experience in the music products industry Experience playing brass instruments is extremely beneficial Experience in organizing and participating in trade shows and consumer events P&L management experience Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display and sell products Experience working with cross-functional teams to align programs in go-to-market strategy execution
