JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a keen interest in creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts, ensuring that all items meet our high standards of quality and presentation. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant environment is preferred, with a focus on food production and culinary skills.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and methods, including dough preparation and pastry making.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create new recipes and improve existing offerings.
  • Conduct quality control checks on baked items to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Assist with the training of junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and food safety practices.
