In Eataly’s 24-hour operating bakery, a Bread Baker is responsible for producing delicious bread and focaccia in accordance with our authentic Italian recipes. Reports to the Bakery Manager. Prepares a variety of pizzas, artisanal breads, focaccia, and rolls, for Eataly’s restaurants and retail operations. Follows proper fermentation, proofing, baking, and pizza-making techniques for each product. Mixes, shapes, and bakes doughs according to Eataly’s quality standards. Maintains a clean and sanitary production area in compliance with Department of Health standards. Collaborates with the Artisan Overnight Baker and other team members to ensure a smooth handover between shifts. Assists Sales Associates when needed and engages with guests interested in learning about bread and pizza production. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
