Our state-of-the-art Bread and Bun Plant located in La Crosse produces over 20 varieties of bread and bun products for approximately 800+ retail stores. Join our Sanitation Crew and learn the skills necessary to keep our fast-paced, high volume Bread & Bun department up to our high standards. Regular tasks include: Disassemble production equipment and reassemble after cleaning Wet and dust mop Operate a floor scrubber Complete general cleaning and sanitizing of the bakery area Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday with rotating days off working 2:00pm to 12:00am Qualifications: Accurate/detail oriented; adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards; willing to learn/perform variety of job tasks; work in a fast paced production environment; work in a noisy environment frequently; work well alone/with others; work with minimal supervision; basic math aptitude; read/follow cleaning labels/instructions; work in a safety conscious environment. Prior sanitation/janitorial experience is a plus. Physical qualifications: lift/carry 15 pounds to 72 inches occasionally; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally; work in temperatures of 70-90+ degrees F; bend/reach/twist constantly; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; kneel/squat occasionally. Benefits: Starting rate of pay: $18.00 per hour (additional Overnight Premium Pay of $3.00 per hour for part of shift!)
